BBCalendar is a calendar plug-in for the Windows window manager Blackbox. It is basically just a simple calendar with some customizable options, like setting an alarm with a message on a certain date, or changing the overall design. It can also be moved around to wherever you see fit and it can be set to any size you want.

First off, the whole install process isn't that easy, you first have to download BBCalendar, then open Blackbox and manually add the program using the add custom plug-in function. After this you have to read the instructions on how to use from its readme file because you'll find any information only there. Some of the controls I considered were not that practical. To move it around you have to press the ctrl key. To add an alarm you have to right click on a date while holding ctrl pressed. If you want to change its size, you cannot do it just by dragging the edge like in any other program, you have to go to the options menu, then select configuration and manually enter values for its width and height.
While the controls might not be good, the level of configuration is very high. Everything from the fonts to the positions of weekdays and background images can be changed to whatever you wish. It also changes its style depending on Blackbox, so if you choose any other theme for Blackbox, BBCalendar will be changed with it, as well.
